Nearly the end of friggin October!
People are starting their Xmas shopping apparently?!! I haven't seen any decorations go up in the malls yet, but then as I type this, it will probably kick in beginning November.
People are still driving around with the All Blacks/New Zealand flags on the cars!? When do we take those down? In 4 years time?! ha!
I will be spending this weekend on tenderhooks, waiting to see if I am going to be scratched on Monday for the Melbourne Cup. Bryce isn't even in the running as 'legal' reasons has taken his hat out of the ring...
So its me and my fascinator, Mulls and his suit, and Roggie and his best hoodie! We don't even know who the winner will be but will meet for the first time Monday morning when he/she will 'scratch' ONE of us!
I thought for nostelgic reasons I would post a piccie of last year. Our inaugural winner, Richard from Christchurch - a bloody decent bloke and we all had a blast!
