How long have you been working at The Rock? 6 ½ years now, started off doing midnight to dawns on the weekends.
What’s the best thing about working at The Rock? Watching Rog perv and poorly attempt to spade the office girls like a creep. Also getting free shit is good times. The best thing however would be getting to interview my favourite bands.
What’s the worst thing about working at The Rock? Not getting to sleep in any more.
Career highlights? Getting to interview people from bands like Metallica, Tool, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine and the like.
What are your favourite bands? Impossible to narrow, here are some I can think of: Sublime, Guns N’ Roses, Rancid, Shihad, Bleeders, Tool, Katchafire, Kings of Leon, Kasabian, Alice In Chains, The Strokes … many more.
What do you drive? What do you think it says about you? A Holden Commodore wagon – it says I want a family.
What do you do to wind down? Listen to reggae and stuff.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? Just shut up.
What’s your favourite sport on telly? The Kiwis/All Blacks/Black Caps.
Which Super 14 team do you support? The Hurricanes
Do you play any sports? Yep – BYC (Back Yard Cricket), lawn bowls every Sunday afternoon, golf, and a bit of rugby once a year for The Rock team.
How do you like your coffee? Made for me by Paul or Leah.
Favourite beer/beverage? Grey goose vodka.
Favourite fast food? Thai/Mexican – can’t decide.
Any parting words of wisdom? Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
