I'm a Happy Feet hater

I'm SO sick of Happy Feet, the horribly named penguin. he has been in the news far too much lately. Today I even got told by one of the web guys for the 3 news website that Happy Feet stories are getting some of the highest hits out of any story this year!

The reason I say he is horribly named is that he is not happy at all. He is an angry, depressed, money sucking little shit.

He actually hates life cause he ate enormous amounts of sand to try and top himself. Instead of letting nature take it's course, our vets happily operated to suck out the 4kg of sand.

He also has a temper problem. There is a saying "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" - well, Happy Feet is a rebel. I have it on good authority that he has bitten the hand that feeds him not once but fricken twice he has chomped the trainer's hands.....the little shit doesn't appreciate a free feed!

And finally he is a bloody expensive piece of meat...

He spent a total of nine weeks at Wellington Zoo costing tens of thousands of dollars....here is the grand total.....wait for it.....

$87,000 DOLLARS!

He left our shores yesterday.... and the spending hasn't stopped. He received a leaving gift of a GPS worth a few grand and is now on board a NIWA research vessel (yes an entire boat and crew for 1 fucking bird) and after 4 days at sea heading towards Antarctica he will be realesed back into the wild.

Join me with crossed fingers and hope that nature will take it's course in four days time.

$80 k down the guzzler - Happy Feet has stopped transmitting. The Emperor Penguin was released into the Southern Ocean eight days ago with a transmitter glued to him, which has been relaying his position back to scientists in New Zealand. However, not a peep has been heard since Friday. Sirtrack, which is monitoring Happy Feet's progress, says this indicates the satellite transmitter has not broken the surface of the water since that time. Sirtrack engineers have confirmed the satellite transmitter was operating as expected at the last transmission received. "This leads to the conclusion that either the satellite transmitter has detached or an unknown event has prevented Happy Feet from resurfacing." The transmitter was designed to detach from the penguin when he moults in the new year. "In any wildlife research project it is accepted that there may be a premature detachment of the satellite transmitter," said Sirtrack. A statement on Sirtrack's website says there is a small chance that solar flares at the earth's poles have interrupted the transmissions from reaching the satellites, but data has been received from other satellite transmitters located in New Zealand. Sirtrack has contacted the company that operates the satellites, and expects a response from them by mid-week.

Happy feet tastes goooood,why do you think the greenies want to protect the snail,s, of course they taste good,whale,s, dolphins(yummy)Possum,s(bit strong)K.F.C...seagulls(not as nice as mutton bird,s)The only reason D.O.C or the hippy,s want to save anything is for the fact they taste bloody good,just ask the Maoris......,.Shit 10 years ago,Happy Feet would of been a stew,$89000.00 ...piss off,cook it ,eat it feed ya family,.......dollars are nothing when the stupid fluffy feelings are concer,d....I,d cooked the buggar on the barby,an then i would,vsold ticket.s.....The monies will go to the Red Cross..enuff said.....take care out there....AJ..XO
