I'm so lazy I cant even read a book - I have to have it read to me. Audiobooks. Genius.
There I was messing around on iTunes the other day when I saw "audio-books". I've alway known there's books on CD for blind people, but had never noticed this on iTunes. Searched a book I'd been keen to read, hit download and it was on my iPod 20 seconds later. Sweeeeeeeeeet. Don't have to sit and hold anything - just put your earphones in and some lady - with a veeeery nice voice - reads it all to you. SO lazzzeeee but so awesome. I've just pre-ordered Scott Weilands autobiography to read -
er, have someone read to me - next... that free's up my hands to hold a glass of wine...paint my nails...very cool.
Speaking of cool - the Hamilton 400 last weekend, what a monster. I've always had a soft spot for Shane Van Gisbergen,
I had him on the phone on Friday of race weekend and then to see him win Sunday was off the hook. What a star - caning the likes of Tander, Holdsworth, Murph, Ingall, guys with years and years oif experience...and only 21...love that guy.
And if seeing the Gis win didnt make me happy enough - I've just found out two of my favourite girlfriends are moving back to Auckland after years away! Wahoooo! One from Wellington and my friend Aleysha from Perth. I caught up with Aleysha last week (below) always feel fugly stood next to her...
