Jon Bon Jovi burglar facing five years in jail

A man accused of raiding rocker Jon Bon Jovi's home is facing five years in prison after pleading guilty to a burglary charge on Tuesday.

Nicholas Tracy allegedly entered a string of houses in New Jersey, including the It's My Life hitmaker's mansion, over a period of three days between March and April, 2011, making off with jewellery and other goods, totalling about $300,000.

On Tuesday he pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary and theft at the State Superior Court in Freehold.

It is not yet known what items were swiped from Bon Jovi's residence, however some of the property has since been recovered.

The 22 year old is expected to be sentenced to five years in prison on 12 October after accepting a plea deal.
