Lamb Of God star was unaware of fan's death

Randy Blythe had no idea a fan died after the band's concert in the Czech Republic in 2010 until he was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter last month.

The singer was detained in Prague last Thursday amid accusations he pushed a fan off stage at a concert in the city in May 2010.

The man reportedly died of a brain haemorrhage two weeks later, but Blythe's attorney insists the star spent two years completely unaware of the tragedy.

Tomas Morysek tells Blesk.cz, "(Blythe) was in complete shock (when he found out about the fan's death). For two whole years he never knew that someone had died after the band's concert in Prague and he had no chance at all to deal with it. I am convinced that if he had known about it, he wouldn't have shied away from facing criminal prosecution."

The rocker remains in jail despite posting $197,500 bail as he waits for officials at the state prosecutor's office to approve his release. Morysek says, "In every other country, the accused would have been released once the bail had been met. Unfortunately, this does not apply to Czech Criminal Procedure Code... But he hasn't complained about anything. We already went to see him twice. He is still quite confused about the whole thing."

However, Morysek has dismissed reports suggesting Blythe will be banned from flying back to the U.S. under his bail conditions, adding, "The court, which decided the conditions of the bail, did not provide a condition that Randy will have to stay in the Czech Republic."
