Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has revealed the music industry’s current woes has even affected them to the extent they can’t afford not to tour. The rocker says the cycles of taking two years off don’t exist any more, in the past they were able to because Metallica had record royalties coming in consistently. Hammet says nowadays you put out an album and have a windfall maybe once or twice, but it’s not the way it used to be where they would receive a cheque every three months, so now they have to take the funds wherever they can.
A British chef has made what is claimed to be the world's meatiest sandwich. Tristan Welch's creation is crammed with 41 cuts of meat and reportedly takes ten hours to eat. The massive sandwich stands 15 inches high, 24 inches wide and tips the scales at more than two stones. It contains 1,445 grams of ham, two kilograms of salami, turkey and bacon, one kilogram of sausages and 720 grams of chorizo. Bruce Willis says he is determined to return to the 'Die Hard' franchise for a fifth instalment because he's "still trying" to make a sequel as good as the original. The actor kickstarted his career as a big-screen action man playing New York cop John McClane in the 1988 blockbuster, which spawned three follow-ups. 57 year old Willis, who still does as many of his own stunts, has signed up for a fifth outing and says he wants to make the movie better than ever.
