Slash is fuming over Czech prosecutors' decision to indict rocker Randy Blythe on a manslaughter charge, branding the move "an incredible waste of time".
The Lamb of God frontman spent a month behind bars in the Czech Republic this summer after he was accused of contributing to the death of a 19-year-old fan by allegedly pushing him offstage at a Prague gig in 2010.
On Friday, Blythe was charged with causing bodily harm resulting in death - meaning prosecutors now have three months to set a trial date or send the case back for further investigation.
The news has been met with outrage from fans, while former Guns N' Roses star Slash took to his Twitter.com page to respond to the latest development.
He writes, "Czech prosecutor is moving forward w/ (with) indictment of Lamb of God's Randy Blythe. This is to be an incredible waste of time, money & energy."
Blythe previously vowed to return to Prague if a trial is set, insisting, "I feel ethically responsible to go back there and face this charge. The family (of the victim) is in a lot of pain, and they deserve some answers. To lose a child is the worst possible thing a human can go through... (but) I want my name cleared... I'm an innocent man. I'm going to go to court and see what happens."
