The most common question I get asked is ‘do you get used to getting up so early”….the answer to that is ‘NO’. But what people don’t ask and is actually harder – is spending every morning in a small room with a bunch of people and constantly being funny and in a good mood!
I have worked with many breakfast shows and there are always problems dealing with different people and their personalities… and I have to say Paul Ego is a bastard!! Hahahahahaha! Totally kidding – Paul has been the easiest guy to worth with! He never comes to work in a bad mood and the most easy going guy... I think the only way we could replace Paul with the same kind and happy creature is to give the job to a puppy!
If you are thinking of quitting your job here are a few ways you could do it...these are true stories;
JetBlue Flight attendant Steven Slater was told by a passenger "to f*** off" after he was told not to remove baggage from the overhead compartment. The passenger then insisted on opening the compartment, hitting Slater in the head with the door as it dropped down.
After the plane pulled up to the terminal, Slater got on the public-address system and launched into a tirade, screaming: "To the f***ing assh**e that told me to f*** off, it’s been a good 28 years!" Slater then grabbed two beers from the galley and, in a move straight out of an action movie, popped the lever for the airliner’s inflatable chute and slid down it onto the tarmac outside the terminal door.
A dude worked in a chain restaurant as a server. One night he was asked to take a birthday cake out to the kitchen and cut it into slices. The cake had a bunny rabbit drawn into the icing. It was an ugly, freaky bunny rabbit that suddenly represented everything he hated about the job, so he stabbed the bunny in the face and left the knife sticking out for them to find. Then ran home through the golf course out the back.
And if you want to break the law: This cat knew he was going to get fired so embezzled $100 K before they did! And he was never caught!!!!!
