The Rock’s “ROCK THE GLOBE WITH DEF LEPPARD” Competition - Terms and Conditions
How to Enter:
1. Text the keyword LIVE and your name and age to 3520, or register online at www.therock.net.nz from Saturday May 31 May until Thursday 12 June.
2. Listen to The Rock at 7.20am weekdays (Monday 9 June until Friday 13 June) for the 5 Rock the Globe suitcase items.
3. On Friday 13 June at 8.05am The Morning Rumble will call someone who has registered via online or text. If they call you and you can name the 5 items in the suitcase then you have won the trip.
4. The prize includes:
• 2 tickets to Def Leppard live at Wembley Stadium, London on June 26, 2008
• 2 return economy flights to London ex Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Travel to be taken 24th June, returning 27th June 2008 unless otherwise agreed with Universal Music and prize winners.
• Accommodation for 2 people, double or twin share for 3 nights. Any additional nights will be at a cost to the prize winner.
• Airport transfers or spending money to cover incidentals of $1000 NZD
5. Promotion runs from Saturday 31 May and finishes Friday 13 June, 2008.
Terms and Conditions of Entry:
1. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all New Zealand residents except immediate family, agencies and staff of Universal Music and RadioWorks NZ Ltd.
3. The prize package does not cover incidental expenses incurred at hotel including phone, food and beverages.
4. All other expenses incurred whilst traveling are the responsibility of the winner. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
5. The Rock Network take all care but no responsibility for any eventualities, which we cannot control.
6. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money.
7. If the winner is not available to take the prize as stated, the prize is forfeited
8. If you are called by The Morning Rumble but you are unable to name all 5 items word perfect then you do not win the trip.
9. Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. By entering the competition, the winner thereby agrees that [a] The Rock Network may use their photo and name for publicity purposes; and [b] their name may be published on air (all broadcast mediums).
11. The Rock Network and participating businesses will not be held accountable for any expense, loss or injury incurred whilst collecting any, or all, of the prize package, whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winner.
12. If a specified prize becomes unavailable, The Rock Network and participating businesses may substitute a replacement prize at its absolute discretion.
