Rapper Jay-Z pays tribute to Chester Bennington with 'Numb/Encore' performance
You don't need to know or like hip-hop or rap to appreciate this tribute from Jay-Z to the late Linkin Park frontman, Chester Bennington.
The rapper performed their collaborative single 'Numb/Encore', a mash-up of the two artists' songs which eventually won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 2006 Grammy Awards.
Jay Z told the crowd during his set at V Festival in Staffordshire, England:
Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester? Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight.
Bennington took his own life in July, leaving behind six children from two marriages.
