Anthrax's Scott Ian and his wife, singer Pearl Aday, had every musician's proudest moment come to life last weekend, when their 8-year-old son took to the stage.
During the Foo Fighters set at Bourbon & Beyond Festival, Dave Grohl invited "one of my favorite guitarists of all-time" to the stage, having Ian's son Revel walk out on stage. As he was getting set up, Grohl then had a little fun asking his "guitar tech Armando," aka Ian, to walk out onstage.
Revel started the band's performance of 'Everlong', with the rest of the band joining in soon after.
"There goes my hero," beamed Ian in an Instagram post. "Proudest dad moment ever? How about when your son gets to join his favorite band on stage to play Everlong in front of 40,000 people and NAILS IT! Thank you Dave, Taylor, Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Gus, Kerwin, Sean, Patrick, Simone and everyone else on the Foo crew for being the best!!! @foofighters @gusbrandt @pearlcaliforniacountry @bourbonandbeyond."
