Post Malone to cover Nirvana songs at livestream concert tomorrow

He's a huge Nirvana fan.

Post Malone is holding a livestream concert tribute to Nirvana tomorrow at 10 am NZT.

The livestream will broadcast from Post's home to his YouTube channel, where he'll be performing "a set of Nirvana hits and fan favourites." A teaser video was posted to YouTube yesterday, watch it below.

The livestream concert is to raise money for the United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. On top of the livestream, Google is matching all donations up to $5 million.

If you're thinking to yourself "why the hell would I wanna watch Post Malone cover Nirvana songs?", then we understand you. That was our initial reaction, until we found some videos of Post performing "All Apologies" live. Watch it below.

He's actually got a decent rock voice, and is clearly a huge Nirvana fan. He's got a tattoo of Kurt Cobain on his knuckle, as well as the title of Nirvana's song "Stay Away" on his forehead.

We're pretty keen to see how his live tribute goes 🤘
