Rally driver makes insane turn, goes from fourth to first place

Rally driver Kevin Eriksson has pulled off a spectacular passing manoeuvre at the first corner of the FIA World Rallycross Championship race in Germany, going from fourth to first place in one fell swoop.

The Swedish speedster was jostled into fourth spot off the starting line before throwing his Ford Fiesta ST into an outrageous amount of oversteer to slide past all three of the competitors ahead of him and into clear-cut first position.

Eriksson went on to win the round, beating out the likes of former World Rally champion Pettr Solberg to secure eleventh place in the overall standings.

He later took to social media to share footage of the feat from inside the car's cockpit, where it looks all the more impressive.
