Home Alone has been an iconic flick since 1991. Millions of the the kids who have grown up watching Macaulay Culkin every Chirstmas, are now functioning (or unfunctioning adult) - cue Ryan Reynolds.

Yep, it's time for a Home Alone remake. About a stoner.

How good?

Hot off his success from Deadpool, Reynolds is currently developing Stoned Alone at Fox. He'll be the producer with up-and-coming talent, Augustine Frizzell set to direct.

Fully stoned and fueled by paranoia, he tries to thwart the thieves and defend his castle.

According to Deadline the plot of Stoned Alone centers around a twenty-something paranoid blazed munter.

"A twenty-something weed growing loser misses the plane for his holiday ski trip. He makes the best of things by getting high. Paranoia sets in and he believes he hears someone break into his house. Turns out thieves have broken in. Fully stoned and fueled by paranoia, he tries to thwart the thieves and defend his castle."

Sounds like a big ol' doink of laughs.
