Happytime Murders reveals puppets are just like the rest of humanity; filthy, vile and know nothing about New Zealand.
Staring Melissa McCarthy, Elizabeth Banks, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale and the Miskreant puppets from Henson Alternative, Happytime Murders is set in a world where puppets co-exist with us human folk as second class citizens (rough).
The plot follows a string of murders targeting an '80s TV show.
No Sesame. All street.
If we're going by the trailer, the film looks like a bloody hoot.
A couple of the leading puppets tried to give Kiwi slang a go. Seems as though we may have a wee language barrier. Check it out above.
Happytime Murders is in cinemas now.
