If there's one thing we know about MMA, it ain't for the faint hearted, or the feebly-built.
Meet Martyn Ford. Quite possibly the biggest, bhuttiest man we've ever seen.
Move over Andrew the Giant, The Mountain who?
Martyn Ford's in the house.
And this fella is gearing up for his MMA debut. Imagine facing up to this 6 ft 8 behemoth in the octagon...
Just bloody roll over.
Unexpectedly, Ford actually dreamed of being an English cricket player once upon a time. However a bad injury saw him chasing MMA instead.
Right, because you're less likely to get injuries in the octagon than a cricket field...
Ford discussed his journey on the ol' gram: "I was lost when I finished playing cricket. I was convinced I would turn pro and that would be my life set out. With injuries, bad luck and just losing love for the game that never happened. But the void was never filled. I knew deep down I needed to succeed at something, that I had an ability to shine in some way.
"I have always been so focused and committed with a crazy ambition to win. Fast forward to today, I'm travelling the world with fitness, made two films with three more already lined up. Not to mention three businesses to my name."
You can't argue that drive. Onya mate.
And while strength is obviously on Martyn's side, he's training hard to work on his dexterity and speed, two obvious handicaps for the body building type.
Ford is hoping to make his debut in the octagon early 2019.
Looking forward to seeing it.
