Driving an expensive car means you're a bit of a dick, researchers find

Can't argue with science I guess?

Researchers from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas have found that the higher the price of someone's car, the more entitled they feel on the road. They said that drivers with more expenny cars "felt a sense of superiority over other road users".

They found that for every $1000 a car cost, their likelihood of stopping for a pedestrian decreased by 3%.

Disengagement and a lower ability to interpret thoughts and feelings of others along with feelings of entitlement and narcissism may lead to a lack of empathy for pedestrians.

The study noted that this isn't the first this has come up. A study last month found that guys who have more expensive cars are "argumentative, stubborn, disagreeable and unempathetic."

So essentially, the more expensive the car, the more of a dick you are.
