To celebrate Nirvana's 30th anniversary, an Aussie cyclist has re-created the band's iconic 'Nevermind' album cover.
45-year-old Pete Stokes used GPS software on the fitness app 'Stava' and covered 150km of ground to complete the image.
The face of the baby was outlined in Adelaide's CBD, the arms took him out to Fulham Gardens and across to Wattle Park, while the fish hook and bank note took him from Campbelltown to Kensington Park. It took him over 8 hours all together to complete.
When [the Nevermind album] came out it was such a cracker of an album and it still is to this day. I was listening to it on the ride, every track brought back so many great memories.
We can't help but notice he drew a slight angry face on the baby, which could be a nod to the now-grown-up Nirvana baby, who sued the band members alleging that the ‘nude’ image of himself is child pornography.
We wonder how he feels about this..
