Rotorua Bottle-O store owner grabs nunchucks & chases down thief until his pants come down

The store-owner took matters into his own hands and chased down the thief and stolen item.

A Bottle-O store owner from Rotorua has chased down a thief out the door until his pants fell down.

The incident ocurred at Bottle-O Fenton Street in Rotorua when the store owner, Charanjit Dhillon, took matters into his own hands.

A TikTok of the interaction was posted below. Warning - it does contain strong language, but we're sure you're used to that.

The former Bollywood movie choreographer, who is also a kickboxer and regular runner of up to 20km, told NZ Herald he was yelling at the thief "run, how far can you run?".

Dhillon chatted to Rotorua daily post, explaining that the thief only got about 100m down the road before he fell to the ground. Dhillon yelled at him "come on, get up" and when he did, his pants fell down.

Dhillon said "I could see his bum, everyone was standing around laughing and he was crying like a baby."

Dhillon told the thief he would let him go, so he left the box of 51 barrel bourbon and cola's that he had stolen behind.

51 year old Dhillon walked back to the store, popped the box back and made his way to serve a customer.

While Dhillon says he would never put his life in danger and always told his staff to remember they had insurance, he was also prepared to defend his livelihood

"I am looking after my earnings. I have a family like everyone else. I do what I can but if it's too dangerous I will not do it."

What a bloody legenddddd!!!
