Airbourne have released the video for their song 'It's All For Rock N' Roll' and it's a massive tribute to the late Motörhead rocker Lemmy Kilmister.
There have been plenty of tributes for Lemmy going around, and now some song tributes are starting to come out.
Airbourne have done a great job at paying homage to the late frontman with the video even featuring the legendary Motörhead “bomber” stage prop and Lemmy performance snippets throughout.
In an article on Loudwire, Joel O’Keeffe says that “when Motörhead
played, it didn’t matter what was happening in the world at that point — Motörhead was onstage, that was it. Everything was dialled in and the crowd were there and lovin’ it – all for rock ‘n’ roll".
“Whenever we were on tour, we looked forward to seeing the festival posters with the big Motörhead logo on there, and now there’s just a big black hole. ‘We are Motörhead, and we play rock ‘n’ roll,’ we were so used to hearing that, and when it’s not there anymore, it hits you hard. Lemmy meant so much to us, and so much to rock ‘n’ roll itself.”
The Motörhead camp were very enthusiastic about the “It’s All for Rock n’ Roll’ video and were happy to chip in with archival footage and lend the “Bomber” lighting rig to Airbourne.
