A life-sized bronze statue memorialising Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog frontman Chris Cornell in his hometown of Seattle.
The statue, which shows Cornell holding an electric guitar and waving, was created by artist Nick Marra and is now on display in Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture.
Cornell's Soundgarden bandmates Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron all attended the unveiling ceremony at which his widow Vicky Cornell spoke:
"This statue is a commemoration, a focal point to keep Chris’s memory alive. In us, in Seattle, and in the world."
Cornell committed suicide in May last year, with widow Vicky saying he relapsed into drug use in the last year of his life following a decade of sobriety.
