Smashing Pumpkins have revealed their preparing to share their archives, with bucket loads of never-before-heard tunes.
Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha joined Kiwi Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show to discuss their new album; Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun, - but it was the chat around their archives that has old school Pumpkin fans extra excited.
When Lowe asked how much material are we talking here, Corgan revealed: “You can’t even imagine."
Chamberlin added: “Hundreds of songs.”
Corgan continues: “It’s insane how much work there is. There’s so much. We could literally never record another song and we could have a release every two months for the next 20 years… easy.
“There’s alternate versions, live versions, acoustic versions – so we’re going to absolutely kill people with content.”
