"The rock n' roll album you've been waiting for"
The Racounteurs have announced their long-awaited album 'Help Us Stranger' will drop this year.
In late 2018 the band returned with two new songs - 'Sunday Driver' (see music video bellow) and 'Now That You're Gone' - and the four-piece has now confirmed the full album will be released on June 21, two months after they play a SOLD OUT show in NZ.
The Raconteurs are calling their latest work "the rock n' roll album you've been waiting for," describing the sound as a blend of "“prodigious riffs, blues power, sinewy psychedelia, Detroit funk, and Nashville soul.”
Frontman Jack White and musician Brendan Benson wrote the album together for a Donovan cover ‘Hey Gyp (Dig The Slowness).’
