WATCH: Metallica thrash 'The Outlaw Torn' live for the first time since 2011

Be prepared for Metallica to mix up their set in NZ.

Metallica have performed another rarity from their back catalogue in Europe.

The boys played 'The Outlaw Torn' from the 1996 album 'Load' for the first time since 2011 in Mannheim, Germany. Check out the epic 11-minute performance below.

This isn't the first time Metallica have dug deep into their libray of thrash metal during their WorldWired Tour. So far they've performed songs like 'The Thing That Should Not Be' and 'Frantic' for the first time in years.

You can still get tickets to see Metallica live in New Zealand here.
