Tool & Chris Cornell named in 2020 Grammy nominations

The nominations for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards have been revealed with some interesting names in the Rock and Metal categories.

Bands Tool, I Prevail and Rival Sons were the big winners with two nominations each. Tool were nominated for Best Rock Song for 'Fear Inoculum,' and '7empest' received a nod for Best Metal Performance.

Chris Cornell also received a nomination in the Best Recording Package category for the artwork on his self-titled posthumous compilation album.

The Annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on January 26. Check out some of the rock nominees below, and you can see all of the nominees here.
