Axl Rose releases first new song in a decade with 'New Looney Tunes'

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has teamed up with the Looney Tunes to release his first new song in 10 years, "Rock the Rock".

The legendary hard rock singer is set to star in an upcoming episode of the Boomerang animated series "New Looney Tunes". In a new music video Axel, Bugs Bunny the gang form a 'sonic demolition team' to stop an asteroid from destroying earth.

The clips sees Axl put on a trademark performance, featuring his classic screaming vocals and signature snake dance moves.

The song has been well received from rock fans, with one announcing the "world is rocking again".

"Great song! Just made for fun for a cartoon, still better than most rock today," wrote another.

"Rock the Rock" is the first new recorded music Axl Rose has appeared on since the release of Guns N' Roses’ Chinese Democracy in 2008.
