Shakira may've played the drums and guitar at the Super Bowl half time performance, but that wasn't enough to satisfy 2,800 people who have signed a petition for AC/DC to perform at the next Super Bowl.
Earlier this month, a petition was created on change.org.nz, named 'AC/DC to play Super Bowl', and former Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider is fully on board.
He's shown his support by uploading a video to Instagram adressed to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Jay-Z, who has recently formed a partnership with the league.
He says he wants to see "real rock, hard rock" at the next The Super Bowl half time performace.
It's been a very long time since a hard rock band, a real rock band, has been represented at the half time show, and I think that it's time.
He went on to say,
The one band that I think has such crossover appeal to so many people in all genres, [and who] pretty much everybody loves, [is] AC/DC.
The petition is just over half way to their goal of 5,000 signatures. Get amongst it here.
