Good news for Pearl Jam fans that own an Apple TV, or the Apple TV app.
Pearl Jam are releasing a 4K, 360 visual experience to accompany their latest album, Gigaton. The band were planning to release this experience in cinemas around the world, but that was another thing corona decided to screw up.
So they're releasing it in a different way. On April 24, all Apple TV app users around the world will be able to enjoy the experience for free, for 7 days. The visual album will be available to rent or buy after the 7 days.
Apple TV stated:
This immersive visual album pairs the band's inspired visuals with footage, produced by the award-winning Evolve Studios, to create an unparralleled 360 experience that enhances Gigaton's massive scope.
And Gigaton producer Josh Evans is getting excited saying, "I’m excited for fans to be able to immerse themselves in the sound and to hear the depth and layers of these songs and performances. It’s truly a unique way to experience this album.”
