WATCH: Chris Cornell's cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Thank You' (2011)

Today we remember the insane talent and great guy that Cornell was.

It's been three years today since the legendary Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell tragically took his own life.

The late great singer was found in his hotel room in May 2017 after a Soundgarden concert.

The Howard Stern Show has recently shared Chris Cornell's performance of Led Zeppelin's 'Thank You' to their social media.

Cornell appeared on the show back in 2011, and performed an acoustic, stripped back cover of the classic GNR tune. Chris begins by briefly explaining why he chose the song, before ripping into his killer vocals.

Today we remember the insane talent and great guy that Cornell was - he was definitely taken too soon.

Watch the epic cover of the classic song above.
