Roger Waters shared a video performance of Pink Floyd's 'Mother' on Twitter yesterday.
'Mother' appeared originally on Pink Floyd's 1979 album 'The Wall', and was written by Waters. He's sung the song multiple times at his solo shows, often as his encore performance.
Waters performed the rendition with the rest of his touring band, with each person in seperate places in keeping with self-isolation rules.
Along with the video, Waters wrote "Social distancing is a necessary evil in Covid world. Watching 'Mother' reminds me just how irreplaceable the joy of being a band is."
