Miley Cyrus recently made waves for her covers of The Cure and The Cranberries at #SOSFest over the weekend, but her follow up is even more ambitious.
In an interview with fashion designer Rick Owens, the "Wrecking Ball" singer revelaed that she's putting together a Metallica covers album.
“We’ve been working on a Metallica cover album and I’m here working on that," she stated, adding, "We’re so lucky to be able to continue to work on our art during all of this. At first, it felt uninspiring and now I’ve been totally ignited."
Not afraid of dabbling in covers of the heavy metal icons, Cyrus previously covered "Nothing Else Matters" during her set at Glastonbury last year (see up top).
Despite being remembered for her huge pop hits, Miley has no issues paying homage to some of the rock icons she's been influenced by over the years.
”People ask me who I’ve studied for my movement onstage, and I always say Iggy Pop.”
