The Boss Bruce Springsteen has recently become the first artist to have a Billboard Top Five album in each of the last six decades.
Springsteen had two Top Five albums in the 1970s, 'Born To Run', with 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' following. In the '80s, 'The River' hit number one in the Billboard charts, along with 'Nebraska', 'Born In The USA', 'Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band 1975-1985', and 'Tunnel Of Love.'
The '90s saw Springsteen's album 'Lucky Town' peak at number three, 'Human Touch' peak at number two, and his 1995 'Greatest Hits' compilation hit number one.
The following decade, The Boss had six albums reach the Top Five: ‘The Rising’, ‘Devils & Dust’, ‘We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions’, ‘Magic’ and ‘Working On A Dream.'
Springsteen achieved four Top Fives in the 2010s with his 2019 album 'Western Stars.'
And most recently, his 2020 album 'Letter To You' has debuted on the Billboard Hot 200 at number two, completing his six-decade-streak.
What an achievement!
