Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has announced that he'll be publishing an autobiographical book this year, called'The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music'.
A statement release says the book is focussed on “moments that have molded [Grohl] into the man he is today.” It'll contain musings on music from his childhood and stories about Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, AC/DC, Tom Petty and heaps more.
Grohl took to Instagram to announce the news yesterday (April 6), writing:
"A collection of memories of a life lived loud.
"From my early days growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, to hitting the road at the age of 18, and all the music that followed, I can now share these adventures with the world, as seen and heard from behind the microphone.
“Turn it up!”
Along with the announcement, Grohl shared a extract from the book both on Instagram and YouTube. Check out the vid up top, where Grohl himself is narrating the snippet.
The book is due to come out October 5th, and you can pre-order it here!
