Popular Kiwi Snapchat star and creator of the danger swig, Johnny Danger has reportedly died in a motorcycle crash.
Around 2.30 pm, police were called to the single bike crash near the intersection of Dairy Flat Highway and Hobson Road.
Julian Rivers-Smith, close friend of Johnny's confirmed the tragic news to Newshub.
Johnny loved his motorbikes. He posted on his Snapchat and Instagram stories only a few hours ago, showing he was out with his bike.
Many of Johnny's friends and fans are in disbelieve. Hundreds have posted tributes on Johnny's Facebook pages.
With an estimated one million followers across all his social media platforms, and a bloody outstanding ability to make people laugh, Johnny had a positive impact on thousands of people's lives everyday.
In many ways, Johnny was a regular Kiwi bloke, always down for a beer and scotch fileha. His relatability, his success and his humour lead him to becoming an inspiration for many New Zealanders.
In the last year Johnny also scored his own MTV show and released the beer Danger's Lager, which broke Pak n'Save sales records. Johnny had a bright future, and it's heartbreaking to hear the young and talented Kiwi's life has been cut short.
Thinking of his friends and family at this hard time. Johnny will be sorely missed.
We're having a sombre swiggylala for you tonight Johnny.
