If you're still hunting for the perfect drop, Metallica's latest release could be just the ticket.
The thrash rockers have announced the 'Enter Night' pilsner, due to be released across the U.S. during the first quarter of this year and other parts of the world to follow - so here's hoping that includes New Zealand.
The Metallica-branded beer comes in 16 oz. six-packs and will soon be available
as a draft as well. There's no word on an 'Enter Night' crate, yet.
Metallica's new brew is described as crisp and refreshing, and 'much like the band, transcends genres, shatters preconceptions and challenges convention'. Well, alright then.
"The amount of ideals and outlooks that Metallica and Stone Brewing share are endless,” says drummer Lars Ulrich.
"Our view of the worlds that we each inhabit, of creativity and process, and sense of place in relation to our peers and ‘The Man’ are almost identical. This collaboration is beyond effortless and pure, and we can’t wait to share this incredible beverage with everyone out there."
