If your little sprog enjoys a Sunday morning trip to Bunnings for a sausage sizzle as much as you do - you're in luck.
Bunnings has just released a kids party pack with everything you need to throw a DIY-themed bashed for your wee apprentice, including invitations, paper plates, cups and straws, bunting and of course, party hats.
The pack caters for 10, costs $29 and also includes invitations, cupcake wrappers, wooden utensils, place setting name cards, napkins, and a cake stand/gift box. Plus, there's an 'it's my birthday badge' for the guest of honour.
Bunnings says the idea came from seeing DIY-loving Kiwis creating their own Bunnings-themed events.
Queenstown mum Haley Kelly said her 7-year-old son Jedis planning to host a surprise birthday party for his grandad's 65th birthday with his pack.
"They’re both fans of Bunnings and love doing D.I.Y. projects together. Jed often joins his granddad on trips to their local store where the Bunnings team all know them by name," she said.
The packs are on sale in select stores and will soon be available online.
