Eddie Vedder tells Pearl Jam crowd how women should deal with anti-abortion men in bed

The man continues to be an absolute legend.

Eddie Vedder had a helluva suggestion for the women at a recent Pearl Jam gig when dating men who are against legalised abortion.

The band was performing their 1995 single 'Not For You' when Vedder shared his thoughts with the crowd (at about 3.13 in the video below).

Legend.

Vedder's comments came after a leaked document from the US Supreme Court indicated plans to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that protects women's right to choose abortion.

It's not the first time the Pearl Jam frontman has taken a stance on this kind of thing - he famously drew the words 'pro choice' on his arm in black marker during the band's MTV Unplugged performance of 'Porch' in 1992.

Other members of the band have also stood up for women's rights, with lead guitarist Mike McCready joining the recent Women's March in San Francisco.

"I woke up in San Francisco after last night's Oakland show and joined the San Francisco march to protect peoples' freedom to choose!" he captioned a video from the protest.
