Sharon Osbourne gives update after Ozzy's 'life-changing' surgery

The Black Sabbath legend had surgery to fix some lingering back and neck issues

Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne is “doing well and on the road to recovery,” after he had surgery, his wife Sharon revealed on Twitter this morning.

“Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery!” the tweet says.

The singer reportedly had the surgery to fix some niggly neck injuries that he is still suffering from after an infamous quad bike injury he suffered in 2003 and reaggravated after falling in 2019.

Ozzy said in an interview recently that he could no longer walk properly because of these injuries and is nowhere close to being physically able to go on tour.

Page Six reports that the surgery was done to “remove and realign pins in his back and neck.

Last week, Sharon said on the UK morning show The Talk that Ozzy's surgery will “determine the rest of his life.”

It seems that Ozzy Osbourne will still be kicking it for the time being and hopefully will be able to do what he does best soon - rock the fuck out.

It's pretty crazy that Ozzy is still with us after all the shit he's been through - Covid, Parkinson's, multiple injuries and ailments, and not to mention the years and years of drug and alcohol abuse - what is Sharon feeding this bloke?!
