This week some heartbreaking statistics were released showing that New Zealand's suicide rates have increased in the last year.
Shaun Robinson, chief executive of the Mental Health Foundation, called the findings a "really horrendous result". "The time has passed to raise awareness of suicide," said.
"We now need to raise awareness of suicide prevention and what is working."
The Morning Rumble, who consistently bring up the topic on air to keep the conversation around mental health going, shared their thoughts.
