Beauden Barrett sinks hard to achieve hole-in-one in South Africa, because what can't he do

The signs are promising for Hurricanes pivot Beauden Barrett's radar ahead of this weekend's Super Rugby semi-final showdown against the Lions in South Africa.

The keen golfer took the opportunity to hit the links during a team recovery day on Thursday (NZT) and nailed a coveted hole-in-one, according to his Twitter account.

"A recovery day well spent. Despite being 5 holes down in match play I managed to win this one! Par 3 12th 183m, 6 Iron hole in #1," tweeted the All Blacks ace.

Teammate Otere Black captured the moment Barrett retrieved the ball from the cup, the reigning world player of the year sporting the proudest of grins.

The Hurricanes will look to cement a spot in the tournament's final for the third consecutive year at Ellis Park on Sunday in what will also be a rematch of last season's final.
