Nickelback have topped a poll aiming to find the most despised band in the world.
Readers of the UK's World Magazine have voted Nickelback into the top spot in a recent poll to find the worst band in the world. Nearly 20% of all readers who voted chose Nickelback as their pick for worst band in the world, with second place going to Lighthouse Family, a little-known but much-despised peddler of pop. In fact, there were quite a few little-known bands making the top 15 - others included The Troggs, Beautiful South ... and unfortunately for patriotic Kiwis, Crowded House! No surprises with the presence of Savage Garden though! The full list of the top 15 (with the percentage of voters who picked them for the top spot): 1. Nickelback - 19.8% 2. Lighthouse Family - 14.3% 3. Toploader - 11.8% 4. Razorlight - 9.8% 5. Savage Garden - 8.4% 6. M People - 7.5% 7. Maroon 5 - 6.6% 8. 4 Non Blondes - 5.5% 9. Snow Patrol - 5.2% 10.
