Audioslave to reunite for their first live show in 11 years

It's been 11 sad, lonely years since rock legends Audioslave have performed onstage together. If you ask us, that's 11 years too bloody long.

Luckily, Trump's new status as the U.S. president has brought the band out of the woodwork to play at Prophets of Rage's Anti-Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2017. The concert coincides with Trump's inauguration and stands as a huge F U to the new president.

Yep, that's right - Chris Cornell, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk reunited at last.

Audioslave are planning to play a full set at the anti-Trump protest, alongside Prophets of Rage (obviously), Jack Black, Vic Mensa, Jackson Brown and the Los Angeles Freedom Choir.

There's been no word on whether we can expect more shows in the future, or a new album, but we'll take what we can get at this point.
