What. A. Game.

New Zealand's Blackcaps have produced produced an epic bowling performance to upset India (and shock the cricketing world) with an 18-run victory in the Cricket World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

After reaching 239/8 in the rain-delayed match at Old Trafford, New Zealand's opening bowlers Matt Henry (3/37) and Trent Boult (2/42) ripped through the much-vaunted Indian top order.

But the Kiwi bowling attack quickly turned the game on its head. Chasing 240 for victory, India were reduced to 5/3 inside the first four overs and ultimately fell to a narrow defeat at Old Trafford.

Henry took the wickets of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, the top run-scorer at the World Cup, while Boult claimed the prize scalp of Indian captain Virat Kohli.

From 24/4 India got themselves back in the game thanks to a superb 116-run seventh-wicket partnership between MS Dhoni (50) and Ravindra Jadeja (77), only to be bowled out for 221 with three balls remaining.
