Yesterday we received some really shitty news. Three's comedy show New Zealand Today with Guy Williams was cancelled and the iconic 7 Days is being significantly cut back in 2020.
"For next year, we have decided to rest the show (7 Days) for the first part of the year returning it in the back half of 2020 for a 12 episode run - timed around the NZ and US elections," a Mediaworks spokesperson said.
But Guy Williamam's latest show has been "a huge success" and the people know it. So a pettition has been started by 'Memes Filled With Knowledge' to 'Uncancel Guy Williams'.
"'New Zealand Today'" represents what it means to be a New Zealander (second only to country calendar)," the campaign on change.org reads.
"It baffles me how shows like MAFs and the Bachelor keep getting rolled out for to braindead slags BUT homegrown content, that is actually good gets cancelled (defs $$ but still c'mon, stop selling out dammit)."
