A new contender for the unofficial 'Auckland's Worst Driver' award has emerged.
An erratic attempt to change lanes went horribly wrong when two cars collided, sending an innocent driver barrel rolling down State Highway 1, and the whole thing was captured on dashcam.
The man who supplied the footage, only wishing to be identified as Ryan, says it happened on State Highway 1 near the Esmonde Rd exit. See the full video above.
"It was just very shocking to see that," Ryan said. "The car was in the air."
Miraculously, Ryan understood there were no serious injuries.
