Bad news city folk - a survey says farmers in the regions enjoy a MUCH better sex life than any other profession.

The UK survey of 2000 men and women was carried out by Lelo UK, quizzing them about their sex lives and occupations.

The results revealed that farmers have the most sex, with more than 33 percent claiming to have sex at least once a day, UK paper The Mirror reported.

Lelo UK's Kate Moyle said the level of physical activity in a career such as farming, rather than someone in an office setting, could impact levels of fitness and energy.

"The lifestyle factors of our jobs such as flexibility of working hours and the environment are also likely to have an impact on all our lives not just our sex lives," she told the tabloid.

Meanwhile, 67 percent of farmers surveyed ranked their performance in the bedroom as "incredible".

Farmers were closely followed by architects (21 percent have sex once a day) and hairdressers (17 percent have sex once a day).

The survey said journalists have the least sex, with a fifth claiming they only have sex once a month.
