Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has reportedly died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, according to TMZ Sports.
TMZ claims Bryant was traveling with at least three other people in his private helicopter when it went down.
During his NBA career, Bryant won five five championships, an was the league's most valuable player in 2008
The Lakers famously retired both of Bryant's jerseys, number 8 and 24, the only player in team history to receive that honor.
The 41-year-old is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters -- Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and their newborn Capri.
