Porn Industry calls for shut down because of COVID-19

It applies to all performers shooting with other performers who are "not a part of their household".

Shit is getting real.

It's common knowledge that a lot of industries are being affected by COVID-19, but as recently as last week, the porn industry was still alive and kicking, continuing shoots as usual.

Yesterday, adult industry lobbying group the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) called for an industry-wide "voluntary shutdown" until the end of March. This applies to all performers who are shooting with other performers "not a part of their household". Speaking to RollingStone, Spokesman Mike Stabile said although there's been no known case of COVID-19 in the porn industry, this is "just preemptive."

This will obviously have an impact on the performers incomes, but Stabile said they've been encouraging other forms of porn like camming and making custom individual videos for fans.

"We’ve been encouraging this from the beginning, and expect we’ll see a shift in this regard... This is an unprecedented situation, and like all industries, we’re going to have to find a way through this, and help our performers and producers survive."

On a similar note, swingers parties around the world are on the decline. For example, the 'Chesham Dogging' group, who have "some of the biggest and best sex parties in Buckinghamshire" according to twitter, have cancelled six swinging parties so far due to COVID-19... Wonder how Blenheim's getting on.

Stay safe out there guys.
