Members of Metallica, AC/DC and Travis Barker added to Taylor Hawkins tribute gigs

A bunch of new artists have been added to the upcoming tribute gigs for late Taylor Hawkins.

A bunch of new artists have been added to the line-up for the upcoming tribute gigs for late great Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Plus, details of how to watch it from NZ have also been announced.

The two tribute gigs were announced back in June, and are all set for Wembley Stadium in London on September 3, and the other at The Kia Forum in LA on September 27.

The news was announced following the cancellation of the rest of Foo Fighters shows, after the tragic passing of the drummer.

Liam Gallagher, Brian MayLed Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, 12-year-old drummer Nandi Bushell, and Josh Homme are amongst the line-up for the Wembley show.

Now it's been announced that Metallica's Lars Ulrich, AC/DC's Brian Johnson, Blink 182's Travis Barker, and Dave Grohl's daughter Violet have been added to London's line-up.

LA's tribute show will see Ulrich, Barker, Grohl and Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler join the likes of Alanis Morissette, Miley Cyrus, and members of Queen and Red Hot Chili Peppers, to honour Hawkins.

Tickets for the tribute gigs went on sale in June, but you don't need to travel to London or LA to see the gigs.

Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in London will be livestreamed on MTV's official YouTube channel, so fans around the world (including you and I) can watch the concert. How good.

The stream will start at 4.30pm on September 3 in England, which means here in NZ, it'll begin at 3.30am on September 4 - so make sure you set your alarms.

Then on September 5th, the concert will be available to watch in its entirity on MTV's YouTube channel.
